Interview conducted by Larry Ritter for use in his book "The Glory of their times : the story of the early days of baseball told by the men who played it". Charlie Jamieson discusses his start in semi-pro baseball, as well as playing for manager Connie Mack in the American League. Along with the gambling stories of major league ballplayers, the death of Ray Chapman, and the evolution of equipment.
